The piano crash course consists of all of the core topics a pianist needs to know in the modern day music industry. These topics include:
Basic Piano Technique:
It is vital to have a good foundation of correct technique when beginning to play the piano or keyboard.
How to study pieces of music effectively:
Knowing how to break down music quickly and effectively will assist musicians in learning pieces in preparation for gigs and session work.
Keyboard/Synthesiser knowledge:
Knowing the difference in sound creation format between a sampler-based engine and an oscillator-based engine. It is imperative for pianists to know when to use different sounds and instruments.
Studio knowledge:
A basic foundation of knowledge in studio technology goes a long way for a working musician. This will assist musicians when composing with other musicians.
The Studio Environment:
Knowing how to approach any studio session with a professional attitude is extremely important when it comes to building a strong portfolio with repeat business and gleaming testimonials.
