WORKSHOP FORMAT
Students will be given the opportunity to learn the basics in the art of studio recording and mixing. Day 1 will be purely focused on learning about studio hardware (microphone types + their uses) and software (DAW’s + various outboard and plug in gear). Day 2 will require the students to assist in a real recording session where they will be expected to help the set up and running of the session. Once the session is complete students will mix the song they have recorded. They can take away a copy of their mixed track.
OTHER DETAILS
Students will be required to bring a packed lunch for lunchtime.
