A lifelong member of the XYZ community, Luke Henning began learning drums at age 10 while attending Bedgrove Junior School, studying under XYZ tutor Max Gedny. His musical journey continued through the XYZ Band Course under the tutorship of Seb James, where he formed his originals band, Crimson 97. The band has since recorded and released their own music and continues to build momentum within the local scene. Luke joined the XYZ Music Academy teaching team in August 2025, offering private drum lessons at the centre and peripatetic tuition across our partnered schools.
