“I have been playing the drums since the age of 13 and have been teaching at XYZ Music Academy since February 2015. After completing my studies at XYZ Music Academy and achieving Grade 8 with Distinction, teaching felt like the natural next step. I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my knowledge and passion for music ever since.

During my time at XYZ Music Academy, I have taught well over 100 students, ranging in age from 4 to 70, across a variety of settings including schools, private one-to-one lessons, shared sessions, and group classes. I have also led percussion workshops in schools and guided many students through their Grade Exams, as well as coaching them for our annual summer concert—building strong, lasting connections with each individual along the way.

Beyond teaching, I have continued to deepen my own studies of music, developing an appreciation for a wide range of genres. As a member of an originals band, I have gained valuable live performance experience, playing at world-renowned venues such as The Garage, The Electric Ballroom, and London KOKO. These experiences allow me to provide students with unique insights into the world of music performance, offering a wealth of knowledge that extends far beyond what can be learned from a textbook.”
