I’ve been performing and writing music from an early age, starting my journey on the saxophone whilst in school and then progressing onto the drums and the guitar later on. Since my time at college I have been deeply involved in and around the local music scene, running jam nights and music events at Dukes and the Queens Head in Aylesbury

As the former founding member, guitarist and songwriter of indie rock band Callow Saints, I have acquired  many years of performing experience, working  with other bands such as the Greenback Mantra as a drummer and vocalist, and The Repeat Offenders as a guitarist supporting bands such as The Rifles on a few of their tour dates.

I’ve played numerous gigs and festivals around the country playing both in both original projects, covers/ function bands and on Dep gigs as a freelance drummer and guitarist    

My most recent and current project is Screamin’ Irene formed with my colleague Casey and drummer Dan, a three piece alternative rock band taking influence from the likes of Radiohead, Nirvana, The Vines and Queens Of The Stone Age we have supported bands such as the towers of london  and are currently working on our first studio album recorded right here at XYZ Studios. 

Since working here at XYZ I’ve been lucky enough to work along side some very talented musicians. I have taken part in organising group music workshops and have performed in a vast array of bands – this has enabled me to play in many different styles and it’s this variety that has given me the confidence to teach and read music fluently. I am passionate and enthusiastic about my music, dedicated to ensuring that my students achieve their full potential and have fun along the way. 

It has been a great pleasure of mine to have the chance to pass my knowledge on to my students, helping them to learn new skills on there chosen instrument, and helping them to build confidence as people and the fearlessness to follow their own musical journeys.
